Got here last Friday around noon! Wheee! We've already unloaded and returned the Penske truck, with an additional discount from the nice lady for the trouble we had. (26 ft diesel truck, with a car trailer on the back = NO BUENO!) We made it rain job applications for the next few days and scoped out some nice apartments. I have a part-time job at Payless shoes (I was hired within 2 days :3 ) and Andrew and I have job orientation at Kohls today. We're also moving into our apartment this Friday! We're getting a completely remodeled apartment with new appliances for $670 instead of the $810 they were asking for. They were pretty desperate

It's just a game, you know? Everyone is in it to win it, and will do anything to reach the top. When, in reality, they probably never will. What do you want out of life? Do you want the suburban dream house, the white picket fence, the golden retriever, the 2.3 kids? Well, most likely, you won't get it. Any of it. And if you do, will it really make you happy? Just step back, take a look at everything and everyone, take a deep breath, and smile. You don't have to play the game by the rules, play it the way that makes you happy. Take your time. So last night Andrew and I went to bed, our kitty, Me, comes to sleep on my chest, as usual. But when we wake up the next morning, she's gone. I just grab her food bowl and shake it around, she's a fatty, and will come when the food calls. But she doesn't. We check all the closets, and drawers, and cabinets, and boxes, and blankets... But Me is nowhere to be found. Andrew goes to work, I start getting ready for school, all the while fretting and hoping she'll hear me and come out from where ever she's hiding. I end up skipping Psych class. I crawl into every cabinet to see if there is some hole she could have wiggled through. I check all
